I signed up for a challenge to read all five books this year. I haven't even started yet lol and they are really long so I need to get crackin. I love the show and have heard the books are amazing.

  27. A Meg Cabot book is always good for a light read. The cover for Held is really creepy! I haven't heard of that one before but it looks great. Awesome haul this week! :)

  29. I hope you like A Game of Thrones! I personally can't get into them. I LOVE LOVE the TV show but the books just aren't doing it for me. I read the first one and wasn't crazy about it. I just didn't care about some of the characters and it seemed to move slowly. It was alright though. Then I read the second one and I liked it even less, but I finished it. The same reasons really.. a lot of characters whose chapters I didn't care about (he alternates the points of view) and a very slow moving plot. I didn't even finish the third :(

    It's definitely an amazing story but I just feel like they're soooooo slow moving.

    I seem to be in the minority though so maybe you'll love it (I hope so!). The TV show is definitely awesome though!

  36. I've never actually read Girl with the Steel Corset, but I have wanted to for quite awhile now. Same with Game of Thrones, I have had book one for a log time now just haven't found time to read it because they are so huge. Hope you enjoy everything you got this week.
