Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then “broke up” with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.

The only one I can think of is Seth from the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. It was a love/hate relationship. I started out in book one not that into him and preferred Roman. Then in book two I fell for him but at the end of book three he had me crying for days. I was so mad at him and hated him! I seriously almost threw up I was so upset! But then I forgave him later and fell in love with him again. It was a surprisingly very emotional series! lol

Thanks for stopping by and leave links to your FF so I can visit and follow back

Give the Elemental Assassin series a try. I promise you'll love it. And no worries...the guy I was talking abt being disappointed / hating him even more...is not a main character.

  4. Thanks for stopping by - I haven't read the Georgina Kincaid series, but it must be doing something right to engage such a powerful range of emotions. :)

  5. I haven't read this series but just reading that it was so emotional has me intrigued.

My answer to this would be Nash from the Soul Screamers series. I really liked him in the first few books but in the last couple he was just kind of weak and whiney. I love Todd now :)

  6. Haha, I can get really emotional with books too! I haven't read that series, I'm still getting through Vampire Academy. I should try it out soon though!

  14. Sounds like life I love you, now I hate you, now I love you. HAHA I'll have to read this. Thanks for stopping by my blog followed via GFC and I can say yes Anne Rice does take a downhill drive the further she gets into the Vampire Chronicles but I can say the first 3 awesome, then stop after the Queen of the Damned. I'm re-reading The Vampire Lestat for a read-a-thon and I still love it!
    Thanks so much

  15. I can't believe someone felt the same way I did. I was so heartbroken in book three. I never forgave him yet. I tried reading the fourth but it wasn't the same. I haven't read the last two novels because I was mad at him. LOL!
