2014 Reading Goals & Challenges

I try not to set a ton of goals for reading and blogging because I want to keep it light and fun and when I put a lot of pressure on myself then it isn't fun anymore. But I do want to set a couple challenges to read more of my books. I went to a ton of book signings last year yet the books sit on my shelf unread so this year I am challenging myself to read every book that I have signed.

The Compound (The Compound, #1)   Just One Day (Just One Day, #1)   Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine, #1)   Grace Doll   The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1)   The Girl in the Clockwork Collar (Steampunk Chronicles, #2)   Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1)   Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2)   The Lost Code (The Atlanteans, #1)   Mercy, A Gargoyle Story   Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2)   The Sky Is Everywhere   Of Beast and Beauty   The Disenchantments   This Song Will Save Your Life   Eleanor & Park   Don't Turn Around (PERSEF0NE, #1)   Don't Look Now (PERSEF0NE, #2)   Attachments   How They Met, and Other Stories   Are We There Yet?   Two Boys Kissing   Red Hill   Allegiant (Divergent, #3)   Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer   Where Will You Run? (Dion, #1)   Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)   Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2)

So 28 books! More than I thought but I have the whole year. I am already halfway through Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. I also want to challenge myself to read any of my WOW picks that are now out that I haven't had a chance to get to. I am also taking part in the challenges at ♥!The Young Adult Book Club!♥ that I help moderate but those challenges I just keep track of on goodreads. It is to try to read a few books from all genres. I also have personal goals to find a new job because I hate mine LOL and to get back on a good workout schedule and continue losing weight. 10 pounds down only a billion more to go! My goals for blogging is just to continue doing what I can and having fun. I finally saved up to get a new laptop and have been shopping for one. I am so excited! Mine broke months ago and once I have a new one it will help me have a lot more time to blog and book chat. Good luck to all in 2014!

  4. I have to admit I'm jealous of your signed books. I have a few that are still sitting unread as well. Hopefully I can get to them this year.

  5. I gave up on challenges because I can't keep track of them. This looks like a good twofer challenge as you are tackling the TBR and reading books on your shelf. I think you have some great reads. I am currently reading Through the Ever Night and it is so good. Also love the Girl in the Steel Corset series, Peculiar Children is excellent and Hopeless is a book I know you will love!
