Top 10 of 2013 ~ Best Books I’ve Read in 2013

Hosted by Rachel from Fiktshun, Lisa from A Life Bound By Books, Jessica from Confessions of a Bookaholic, Jaime from Two Chicks on Books and Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads

I can't believe another year has passed already. This is the third time I am participating in the Top 10 lists. It is always so hard to choose but fun to look back on what I have read this year. I tried to pick a mixture of books from all genres to represent the best of what I have read this year. Looking forward to seeing all the great lists this week. Happy Holidays!

Monday, December 23rd – Best Books I’ve Read in 2013 (Doesn’t have to be released in 2013, just a book you’ve read in 2013)

  3. Fangirl was one I adored and I almost added Eleanor and Park to my list from the same author. I'm seeing a lot of Origin and I haven't read it yet or the others in the series! I swear someday I will catch up. lol Thanks for sharing your list!

  4. Origin was absolutely crazy wasn't it?! Same with The Eternity Cure, the endings to those books had me bouncing around the house for hours, I still get worked up thinking about them!!! I have to get to Rainbow Rowell sometime in 2014, everyone and their pets are raving about her work.

  5. I've seen The Infernal Devices and Bloodlines everywhere - and I haven't read either one! I really need to get on that like now. I also really want to read Fangirl because it seems to describe me perfectly haha. Awesome list!

  6. Great list! The only one I've read from these is WAMS, but it didn't made on my list, even though I loved it. Just so many amazing books this year, it was hard to choose...

I'm glad you loved these, because they're all on my tbr :)

  8. Oh! Oh! Fangirl! Help me, I'm seeing this EVERYWHERE, but I never heard about it before today?!? O_O Is it that good??

Also.. Eternity Curse.. I don't know if I SHOULD read it, because I didn't like the Iron series too much, but at the same time, I want to. :C

Alas, the lives of us bookbloggers. So hard. Many tough decisions. ;)

Hope to see you tomorrow again (I'll stalk you!), but if not (as if): Happy Holidays!

  9. I hate to say this (especially to you) but I was a little bit disappointed by The Fiery Heart. It was good and Adrian's POV, OMG! But I knew that ending was coming since the last book so it was kinda meh for me. Still looking forward to the next book!

  10. I LOVED Fangirl! I read it right before I moved into college - my first semester :D I have Origin and Siege and Storm and Clockwork Princess and Shades of Earth, but haven't read any of them yet. Oops? I should get to them, especially since you loved them so much! :)

    Happy holidays!

  12. Siege and Storm is also on my list! Dare You To and The Edge of Never are also a few of my favorites from the year, though they didn't make the top ten. Awesome list. I've either read them all or have almost all of them on my TBR. :)

  13. I loved Dare You To too!!! I should've had that on my outrageously long list. lol
