    I love this giveaway! (Probably bc I love horror books.) The Devouring is my fav YA Horror so far, and it's a pretty old series, but nothing has beat it yet!

    There's nothing I don't love about Halloween, the decorations, the candy, the costumes, the fun, the season. I love it all!!! This year I am actually doing a couple costume for the first time in my life. My husband and I got married 5 years ago and I wore a big red wedding dress. Well, this year I am steampunking my dress, he's doing steampunk and we'll go out as a couple. I can't wait.

    There's the trick or treat, and those spooky decorations... Since i don't exactly read scary stories or ghost ones much, although been getting to read some and i loved them all..... Jonathan Stroud's The Screaming Staircase, Jaime Lee Moyer's Delia's Shadow and now reading Anna Dressed in Blood..... and loving them all.

    I love dressing up and seeing what everyone else is dressing up as. This year I am dressing as a devil-but a good one. I also love taking the kids trick or treating and for them to get to see their friends and seeing them showing off their costumes. Plus I also love going to the kids schools and joining them in their Halloween parties and having fun. I love Halloween. It is my all -time favorite holiday. Love watching the scary movies too.

    Im not wearing a halloween outfit this year- just taking my son out trick or treating.. My favorite things about halloween is the crisp air, the leaves changing and everthing seems to get this eerie feel to it- my favorite colors are also orange and black!!! my family and i watch a lot of Disney channel at my house and last year there was a movie called Girl Vs. Monster--that was pretty good!!!

    I love everything about Halloween, including the fact that my birthday is the next day. I'm not that into scary movies, but my favorite would be Alien, that movie freaked me out. I don't dress up, so no costume for me, but I'd love a steampunk costume, I think they're so fun.

    Best part? all the candy I get to steal from my little cousins and nieces after we go trick or Treat.

    I am not dressing up this year, but I am dressing one of the kids as Chuky and I am doing her hair Orange, and we have the clothes... she looks the part.

    On my granma's little town we used to spend the whole night in the graveyard. It was amazing as a child, not creepy at all. You see, you spend the night with the dead, bring flowers, food, and booze (my uncles xD). I loved it, and since this was and old and not-so-wealthy graveyard, some graves only had a little cross or some sign. Another thing is... it's RUDE to stand over the ground where the person is actually buried, so my sister and I'd be like "THAT SPOT IS A GRAVEYARD, DONT YOU SEE THE CROSS?? DONT STEP ON THE GUY!!!!". A sad part was also that my grand always went to see her babies that died on childbirth (3 in total, two boys, one girl). Their graves didn't even had a name just the family last name.

    My favorite thing about Halloween is the great costumes. One year my husband and I and my sister and her husband dressed up as characters from Wizard of Oz. I was the Cowardly Lion, my husband was the Scarecrow, my brother-in-law the Tinman, my sister was Dorothy and she carried a little stuffed Toto in a basket. It was a great year. Another year I dressed as Medusa. Fun, fun. My favorite scary book is It by Stephen King.     Halloween is not something we celebrate in my country, but it always seems great fun in books or films. What makes Halloween special to me though is that it's my sister's birthday! Favourite scary book? Well, I wouldn't call either one a favourite, but I did enjoy Rosemary's Baby and The Forest of Hands & Teeth. I don't watch a lot of horror films, but I did enjoy Carrie and Jaws.

    My favorite part of Halloween is that all of the clothes and accessories that I wear year round go on sale because they're "spooky" haha. I'm probably going as the TARDIS again this year, since I'm in college and already have the costume. And, my favorite creepy read is Dracula.

    My favorite part is dressing up, of course! I'm trying to convince one of my friends to dress up with me as either Napoleon Dynamite and Pedro or Forrest Gump and Lieutenant Dan. I'm not usually into horror movies/books, but I'm really excited for Carrie. I just finished the book to try to lessen the chances that I'll pee my pants at the movies, but I'm not sure it will help...

    My favorite thing about Halloween is seeing how excited my kids get about it. I was never really into it but they love it. I love taking them out Trick-or-Treating and seeing all them and all their friends dressed up. It's so much fun! And I get to eat lots of candy, so that never hurts!

    I honestly love everything about Halloween, the dressing up, scary movies, candy, creepiness, the weather, I love it all!!! My favorite costume a witch and my tried and true one so I will probably be that again! I suck at scary movies but The Ring 1 & 2 really scared me!! Book... Bag of Bones by Stephen King or Amityville Horror!!!

    My favorite thing about Halloween is the freedom to be whatever or whoever you want to be and no one can judge you for it because they probably look just as ridiculous as you. I also love all the movies on TV. AMC usually plays the best fright movie and ABC Family has great kid movies and they play a lot of Burton and who can say no to Burton? I'm planning on being a dead Alice from Alice in Wonderland. :) My favorite scary movie is It by Stephen King and my favorite horror movie is Dreamcatcher because those aliens are scary and I can't handle all of that without hiding under the covers.

    My favorite things about Halloween are the parties my friends throw and buying bags of candy for the "kids in the neighborhood." I haven't decided what I'm going to be this year.     I love Halloween because you can have so much spooky fun. There is no pressure to get gifts, you can dress up or not and still enjoy it, and oh we must not forget the chocolate - yes the chocolate is close to the top of the list ;) Thank you for the fun!

    My favorite thing about Halloween is all the decorations people put up on their houses. Creepy decorations are the best--I wish they could stay up all year!
    My favorite costume that I've worn had a skull mask with a clear plastic covering over it--when you squeezed a small pump attached to the mask, blood squirted out over it. Freaked people out!
    My favorite scary book is "It" by Stephen King.

    I haven't dressed up in a long time. My daughter is 13 and this year we were going to make Halloween treats and hang around at home this year. My grandson is only 7 months old, so I'm sure we'll have to meet his mom and dad to see him in his monster costume. LOL He may have an entire entourage following him around:)

    Unfortunately, we don't celebrate Halloween here, so I wouldn't know what my favorite thing would be. As for books, Stephen King's books and Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist are my favorite ones.

    I've been a big horror fan (books and movies) since I was little, so my favorite thing is re-watching all the old classic horror movies that I loved as a child - among others: Nightmare on Elm Street, Night of the Living Dead, The Birds, and of course Halloween!

    Since I live in Aussie, we actually don't celebrate Halloween. The one time a kid came trick or treating we totally weren't prepared and ended up giving him a box of sultanas or something haha. (One of the rare times when we had run out of snacks. Poor kid.)

    I am actually wearing a costume this year, apparently it's a peacock diva, but it looks more like a peacock fairy to me, haha. But the candy is the best part, in my opinion. And I don't watch many scary movies but I do love reading scary books. My favorite is The Killing Circle by Andrew Pyper. That book really scared me, mostly because I still can't figure out how it ends.

    I love taking my kids trick-or-treating and watching the older adults light up when they come up. The area we trick or treat in doesn't get a lot of traffic so they seem to love to see any kids.

    The dressing up is really my favourite part of Halloween. I'm going in full-on zombie mode this year.

    I love everything about Halloween - the stories, events, scents, pumpkins, costumes, decorations :) I am going in a costume this year for the first time in like 20 years LOL as a Medieval Maiden :) And my favorite movie is Carrie - I just watched the new one tonight it was awesome!

    I HATE scary movies. At least the typical horror movies. I prefer Hocus Pocus and Young Frankenstein. I LOVE scary books, however! I love a good horror book and also love a good murder mystery. I'm a big Agatha Christie fan and love And Then There Were None.

    My favorite scary movie for Halloween has always been Nightmare on Elm street. Loved when I used to dress up like a princess as a little girl and of course the best part of Halloween is getting free candy.

    We don't celebrate Halloween here in Argentina :( but I love scary movies and books! I just finished reading Jin Village, by Vincent Stoia and it was really good. And the other night I saw The Conjuring and it scared the sh** out of me! I loved it!!! xD

    I really like the candy :P I wish I could go dressed as one of the sirens from the game Borderlands *-* But here, where I live, we don't really celebrate Halloween that much :( And I don't know if it was my first scary movie, but to this day I'm haunted by The Exorcist!
