I've read some great books lately so I'm sharing two quotes from two books. I love Adrian and I really fell for Falco in Venom.

Venom (Secrets of the Eternal Rose, #1)"Cassandra," he repeated, as though her name pleased him. "So did I interrupt something? A sordid little tryst, perhaps?"
"You must be joking." Cass was in no mood for humor. Besides, the closest she'd ever been to a tryst was when he'd fallen on top of her in the street earlier that day.
"Always. Sadly, you don't seem like the type of girl who would be up for a midnight...encounter." Falco's eyes drifted downward. "Too bad."

 
"Come on," Falco said. "I'll see you safely home to your fancy sheets. I'd say you need your beauty sleep, but it looks like you've been getting plenty."





The Golden Lily (Bloodlines, #2) Adrian ordered a martini, earning disapproving looks from his father and me.
"It's barely noon," said Nathan.
"I know," said Adrian. "I'm surprised I held out that long too."


"You're in an awfully good mood," he observed. "Was there a sale at Khakis-R-Us?"

    I like the first one. The tryst comment is great! My teaser comes from As You Like It by Shakespeare.

    *freaks out* I have been DYING to read Venom and those teasers you chose just proved the fact that I need this book ASAP! I love those teasers and OMG, I love Falco already. I love it, I love him, I love you for choosing Venom as one of your teaser choices, lol ;) I'm even more pumped up to read that book!

    I haven't read Bloodlines yet, but I have heard a ton of amazing things about Adrian. That first quote was funny! I think I need to pick this series up soon!

    Wow! I love the teaser for Venom. I feel like this book cover is stalking me, I've been seeing (and just quietly trying to avoid it) everywhere! But I shall avoid no longer! *swiftly adds said title to TBR List*

    Really want to read Venom now! I love the cover and now the teaser is just too much! Thhe teaser form The Golden Lily is laugh-you-socks-and-but-off funny. I've got to start the series!

    LOVE both of your teasers. I laughed at the back-handed compliment in the first one. In the second, Khakis-R-Us is priceless! Both sound like books I'd enjoy.
