Q: Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?

I'm actually quite a bit of an ADD reader. I jump between 5-10 books sometimes. If I read 10% of a book and I'm just not feeling it, I'll put it down and start something else. Then later I'll come back to it and love it. I just have to be in the mood. It's weird. That is why I never list what I am reading on my blog. Sometimes it takes me months to read something and other times a day. If you follow me on goodreads you have probably wondered what the heck I was doing and so now you know! LOL I'm currently reading 3 books but I'm not feeling them right now so I'll probably start a 4th book tonight.

  1. I am so suprised at the number of people who are saying that they read 5 or more books at a time! I WISH! I'm thinking about trying to have a reading book and an audio book going at the same time. I have never listened to an audio book before, so who knows!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, old follower :)

  2. LOL - I love your answer because it's so honest! you pick up a book your not currently in the mood for then put i back to revisit it days, weeks, months later. I get that!

  4. Lmao. WOW! ADD reader. I would really love to be able to read more than say 2 at a time.
My "weird" ability is to listen to music or text while reading a book.
    Happy Friday. I'm a follower!

  5. I'm a little like that.. I might start books and put them on hold all the time, but I don't really switch. Did that in January a LOT, though. XD

LOL @ ADD reading. I'm the opposite. I have to be sucked into it a world completely and if I get distracted I'll end up being too confused!
Hope you have an awesome weekend!

  9. Oh my! See if I did that, when I return to book 1 after starting 4 books I would totally forget what book 1 was about or what was going on! That's why I just stick with 1 book myself. And I usually tend to love them anyways so it's all good!

  11. I'm exactly the same as you! I can start a book, give up part way through then come back to it later and it'll end up one of my favourite books! Time away from the book apparently makes the heart grow fonder! hehe.

  12. I only read one book at a time. If I'm not feeling a book I usually just abandon it and never go back but maybe I'll try picking them up again and see how that goes.

  14. I'm such a moody reader, too! :) I just have to be in the mood for the type of book I'm reading, that's why almost always I'm reading at least 3 books. This week I've been jumping around 4 books & I have 5 more started that I plan to return to, just waiting to be in the mood for them ;)

I hope the 4th book will be the one you're in a mood for :)

    Have a great weekend!!!
